Meet the Team

  • Sheelam Chadha

    Founder

    Sheelam Chadha is a seasoned real estate investment professional with nearly 20 years of institutional experience across Continental Europe. Her career spans senior roles at some of the industry's most recognised names — from Head of Research at Savills Investment Management, to Head of Transactions at IVG, TRIUVA, and PATRIZIA, to Country Director at Atenor, a listed Belgian developer. Across these roles, she oversaw transactions exceeding €2 billion spanning office, residential, logistics, and retail sectors.

    In early 2025, she founded Dry Capital to address the growing need for tailored capital solutions — particularly preferred equity and recapitalisation and mid-teen IRR deals throughout Europe.

    She holds British, Canadian and Belgian nationality.

  • Maria Laguna

    Iberia

    Lake Capital was founded in 2025 by María Laguna, a former colleague of Dry Capital's founder from their shared years at PATRIZIA and IVG. María brings over 25 years of institutional real estate investment and asset management experience across Southern Europe, having successfully established DeA Capital's Iberian platform and led primary acquisitions and asset management mandates spanning logistics, residential, office, retail, and hospitality sectors.

    The partnership between Dry Capital and Lake Capital represents the first step in Dry Capital's regional coverage model — a deliberate approach to combining deep local market knowledge with pan-European institutional capital relationships. Together, the firms offer asset owners across Spain and Southern Europe access to a trusted, senior-level team capable of navigating complex capital solutions with both local insight and cross-border reach.
